SALVATION BY GRACE ALONE  

The National Association of Nouthetic Counselors wholeheartedly affirms that salvation from sin is by grace alone, without human works of any kind, and which is grounded solely in the life and death of the person of Jesus Christ and which is imputed to all who believe. We believe that mankind is fallen in Adam, and is therefore spiritually dead in his trespasses and sins.  They deserve God’s righteous wrath and curse.  Mankind’s only hope is the bestowing of sovereign mercy upon their hardened hearts so that they may genuinely hear the truth of the gospel, repent of their sins, and believe in what Jesus accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection from the dead.
